On December 8, 2018, George Toriello sent me this researched information on Lawrence J. Earle whose name is on the
Original Wall Unit List, the 1946 Dedication Page, and the World War II Plaque at Hackensack City Hall. 


Lawrence J. Earle lived on 39 Kansas Street in Hackensack and was born in 1924.  He graduated from Hackensack in 1942 and enlisted into the Army on May 4, 1943. Lawrence J. Earle served as a Private with the 135th Infantry 34th Division and was Killed in Action fighting in Italy on June 4, 1944. 

Lawrence J. Earle received the Purple Heart and is buried in Plot D Row 14 Grave 9 Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno Italy.
